Our world is changing. This is how Electric Day 2022 started, where the definitive focus was on sustainable mobility. ALD Automotive would like to thank all the participants for your great support of the event, which was held November 18th at Odense Congress Center in collaboration with our subsidiary, NF Fleet.
At the event, the participants were able to hear Stéphane Renie, Head of CSR at ALD International, who shared his insights regarding sustainable mobility. He talked about the biggest trends in the mobility industry in Denmark and worldwide, as well as how fleets play an essential role and must therefore be in the forefront of investing in electrical cars, due to the urgent climate challenges. Additionally, we had the pleasure of having Christoffer Greenfort, Chief Analyst for Transportation and Infrastructure at The Danish Chamber of Commerce, at the event, and he spoke about the public sector’s demands regarding the green transition in Denmark.

Great interest
“We have seen an increase in interest regarding green mobility, and it is rising rapidly, and we also see that our clients want to be green, however, there are some barriers that make it difficult” says Lene Dragsbæk, Head of Sales, East at ALD Automotive.
The participants were able to take part in workshops that focused on infrastructure and intelligent charging, electric vans, and green car policies. All the workshops delved into different topics with a focus on ensuring that participants would be able to make considered decisions when incorporating green cars or vans into their company fleet.
Participants showed great enthusiasm
The purpose of Electric Day was not only to provide insights into sustainable mobility and how it is developing. Its purpose was also to ensure that the participants, via. lectures, debates, and workshops, had an opportunity to give their input, and thereby better understand and manage of the rising interest in electric cars. Furthermore, there was a great demand and interest in hearing more about the practical side of green mobility:
“I chose to participate in the event today to figure out what ALD is doing about some of these questions. How do we invoice? What our employees are supposed to do when they charge outside of the appurtenant charging network? I needed to know more about that,” says Brian Mundt, who was one of our participants.
At ALD Automotive there is a focus on being able to contribute to making the next choice of a green company car easier for our customers and aiding through counseling and expertise. We are overjoyed by the positive feedback and that the customers know they can get help regarding the day-to-day of having a green company fleet.
